Creating a Community of Global Citizens

“Global” is more than an interesting theory or a trendy rhetorical device. It’s the way we see the world.

Welcome to a global affairs program for the 21st century. From its base in the historic Woolworth Building in Lower Manhattan, the Center for Global Affairs (CGA) at New York University’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies educates and inspires students to become global citizens capable of identifying and implementing solutions to pressing global challenges. CGA faculty include world-class scholars, senior staff members of NGOs, international lawyers, journalists specializing in global affairs, and other professionals with a substantive experience in global affairs at a practical as well as academic level. Whether you are interested in a career in the international arena, or simply want a better understanding of today’s complex global landscape, the CGA offers a variety of unique study options and public programs.
